Practise scoring on a simulated Observer Recorder RC26 phone. Use the rider select screen, enter a rider number, hold a score, record a 10-point section penalty, review the score log, create a Rider Note and try a simulated sync.

Open RIDERS and choose rider 4Use the rider select screen to check the name, grade, lap and remaining section rides before returning to SCORE.
Hold 0, 1, 2, 3 or 5Try a standard section score. Enter another score quickly to see the double-up warning.
Try the 10-point penaltyHold 10 and choose a GCR reason. The penalty replaces the section mark rather than being added on top.
Review and noteIn observed mode, open LOG and review a demo score. In either mode, use NOTE to report an issue to Event Control.
Check SETUP and SYNCOpen SETUP or SYNC to view section status, pending demo changes and a simulated transfer.

Tip

The RIDERS screen is part of the normal workflow. Use it to select the next rider and keep track of who is finished, in progress or still to ride.

ON THE PHONE

10 replaces the mark

The exceptional 10-point section penalty requires a reason. It is recorded against that section/lap instead of a 0, 1, 2, 3 or 5.

Select the next rider

Use the RIDERS tab to pick the next rider, confirm lap progress and quickly see who still has rides remaining in the section.

NOTE and SYNC

Observer Recorder RC26 provides NOTE and a visible SYNC button in observed and self-observed modes. Rider Notes do not automatically alter section marks.
