Help Run the Sport
Officials are essential to every permitted trials event. They make sure the event is organised, safe, fair and properly documented — and the club needs new people learning these roles so the workload does not remain with the same few volunteers.
You Do Not Start Alone
You do not need to know every rule before putting your hand up. Members interested in officiating can assist experienced officials, learn how an event operates and work toward the appropriate Motorcycling Australia accreditation for the role.
Building more officials gives Pathfinders greater depth, makes event planning easier and gives experienced officials a chance to mentor the next group rather than carrying every event themselves.
Event Leadership & Administration
Oversees the sporting and operational conduct of the event, coordinates officials and volunteers, manages the course and briefing, and responds to event-day issues.

Pathfinders uses recompense to recognise selected roles that involve out-of-pocket costs or significant event-day duties. It is not a wage, and not every official role has a standard payment under the current policy.
