Every member sees the year a little differently. The more people who vote, the better these awards reflect the whole Pathfinders club — so have your say and help recognise both a great trial and a great club person.
Best Trial of the Year
This award recognises the complete trial experience — enjoyable and appropriate sections, organisation, venue, atmosphere, challenge and the little things that made an event memorable.
2026: The cancelled Beta Man Trial is not eligible. The Ashes Trial is also not included because the annual votes/results are read out there.
Club Person of the Year
This award recognises a Pathfinders member whose contribution, sportsmanship, encouragement, volunteering, organising or work behind the scenes has made a positive difference to the club and its members.
At the Ashes Trial: The votes are read out and the President presents the Club Person of the Year trophy.
Member Ballot Raffle
Keep it simple and submit your ballot. Membership is checked when the results are reviewed; each valid current-member ballot receives one entry in the draw for a free Pathfinders Family Membership for 2027.
Member Voting
We want a big turnout this year. Start thinking now about the trial you enjoyed most and the member whose contribution deserves recognition. Come back between 29 September 2026 and 11 October 2026 — the ballot is quick, both award votes are required, and every valid current-member ballot goes into the draw for a free 2027 Family Membership.
